About the Fling

The fourth annual Firefly Fling is a gala, silent and voice auction to benefit Wauwatosa public schools. It will be held February 23, 2008 from 7:00pm to midnight at the Peck Pavilion at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

You won't want to miss Wauwatosa's only all city social event! We will have hors d'oeuvres and cash bar, talented student musicians from the area as well as a DJ for late night dancing for all musical tastes. And of course we are anticipating some fabulous auction items, with something for everybody! So far the Fling has donated a total of nearly $60,000 to the Wauwatosa School District. Our goal for 2007 is to raise $50,000. 

Of the $50 reservation price, $30 is tax deductible; for groups of 12, $22 per person is tax deductible; and for a VIP table for 8, $75 per person is tax deductible. All donations to the silent or voice auction are also tax deductible. The amount paid for auction items is not deductible, but if you pay more than the value of the item, you may deduct the amount of the overpayment.
